I received my Bachelor's in Mathematics with an emphasis in Preparation for Secondary Teaching from San Jose State University in Spring of 2014. I then went on to get my Single Subject Teaching Credential from San Jose State University as well in Winter of 2015. Now, I am enrolled in UCLA Extension's Personal Financial Planning Certificate program. I would definitely say that I am a lifelong learner. I love constantly learning new things and expanding my horizons. Knowledge is definitely power!
Experience
I have had over 7 years in tutoring experience as well as close to 2 years of teaching experience. As I said before, I received my Bachelor's in Mathematics from San Jose State University. I tutored Math to student of all levels throughout my undergraduate degree. I even worked as an assistant Math teacher at local schools during the summers. After receiving my B.A. in Math, I went on to complete my Single Subject Teaching Credential for secondary education. I took many courses regarding different teaching techniques and learning styles. In addition, I worked as a student teacher in several schools. I had a great time teaching, and it was always such a sad experience saying goodbye to the students at the end of the semester. Overall, I am just a person with a passion for Mathematics and a desire to help people learn. I love showing students that Math is not just a dull and boring subject. On the contrary, Math is the beautiful language of the world we live in!

Hobbies
I love doing volunteer work around the world. I went to Malawi, Africa to work with Malawi Volunteer Organization. We helped taking care of children in orphanages and even helped teach children in local primary schools. I also worked in South Africa with Southern Ambition South Africa. I feel that helping out humanity is one of the most beautiful and rewarding things in life. Back home I love making music & art, learning new languages, hiking, as well as spending time with family and great friends.
