Experience

I have tutored students of all ages in between receiving my degrees not only to help pay for my eduction, but I have always found it to be a rewarding experience. Every person learns different subject matters at their own pace and by different presentations of the topic. As I tutor an individual, just like providing therapy, I have learned to read a person's reaction to the topic while addressing their possible blind spots. This helps create a safe environment for students to learn. I not only have my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, but I have taught ESL in the States as well as China and Mongolia. These experiences overseas changed my world view and have helped me become a better tutor. Studies and poles have shown public speaking to be one of the worst fears. In my undergraduate studies in Speech Communication it was a requirement that in nearly ever course that we give a speech in a group or by ourselves. It was through these experiences that I learned how to manage these symptoms and master the art of successfully presenting a topic by engaging with my audience.
